Established a monthly meetup group for 45 camera enthusiasts aged 38-68. Members gather the second Thursday of each month to discuss techniques, share recent work, and plan quarterly field trips to the Rocky Mountain region. The club has grown to 60 active members in its first year.
Led a 3-day guided photography expedition with 12 club members exploring Sedona’s iconic red rock formations. Participants learned advanced composition and landscape techniques while capturing desert light across varying conditions. Members reported high satisfaction and formed lasting friendships during the trip.
Developed a 6-week workshop series covering portrait lighting, posing, and post-processing for 28 participants. Hands-on sessions combined theory with practical shooting, allowing members to refine their portrait work. Participants ranged from enthusiasts to semi-professional photographers, all aged 42-72.
Organized the first annual members’ photography exhibition featuring 35 prints from 22 club photographers. The event celebrated the diversity of work within the group and drew 120 visitors over the weekend. Members appreciated the opportunity to display their work professionally and connect with the broader photography community.
